Tom Willoughby Guided Hunts

Myself and a former coworker friend Pat Went hunting with Tom the last of September this year 2021. Pat and I have hunted Hogs before on the Tejon Ranch. We met Tom at the Freeway off ramp and followed him to the Ranch. We transferred to his vehicle and drove up a dirt rode. Both Pat and I noticed that there were no trees and grass was dead or non existance. After a couple miles we were in an area of hills and oak trees. We changed directions and Tom stopped the Truck and turned off the engine and showed us a large black hog down in a valley. Pat told me to take the first shot. We got out of the truck and walked down a steep hill about 50 yard s the Hog started moving following a sow across a canyon bottom out of our view. They started up another hill to our right side about half way up I shot and hit the Boar. He moved down the hill into the bottom of the canyon.. I went down the hill towards him as Pat and Tom took the Truck around the hill to retrieve my pig. They spotted another boar on the way and Pat shot it. We loaded both hogs in the Truck and Tom took them to a tree hung them and field dressed them and skinned them. took them to his house and put them in his cooler. Pat and I went two days later and retrieved them. Tom is a great guide knows the area and the game . He was fun to hunt with and has a good sense of humor. Would hunt with him any time.
